Will Scott, Managing Director
Will Scott is one of the founders of Waer Systems. He manages the Waer Systems group from its US headquarters in Naperville, Illinois, bringing vision, integrity and a great deal of hands-on experience to both his team and his clients. Will was instrumental in helping CJ Fox, a company with over fifty year's experience in aerospace component distribution, develop the processes and programs that ultimately led to the creation of Waer Systems. Since then he has been a tireless industry champion for building efficient processes to increase the visibility and control of components, especially within distributed networks. Will's previous experience includes managing global distribution for a manufacturing company, and the export business for an international pharmaceuticals company. Will has an MBA in International Business from the University of Southern California. Paul Maines, Director of Product Development Paul is the main architect of Waer Systems' software solutions, as well as a co-director. A 30-year supply chain technologies veteran, Paul's innovative approach to the development of replenishment management systems has led him to become, quite possibly, the world's foremost authority on precision supply chain solutions for parts management. For nearly a dozen years, Paul has been instrumental in helping our customers dramatically decrease their overall parts procurement costs while enabling more efficient, more visible supply of needed components. He led the team's efforts to create Waer's current flagship solution: AeroScape. David Snelson, Sales Director Europe Applying his substantial project management and e-business experience, David leads Waer Systems' global business development efforts. Prior to joining Waer Systems, David was an Account Director at a leading e-business company with specific responsibility for online projects for Toshiba Europe. During his 15 year career in business development, David has applied his problem-solving skills to a wide variety of clients and applications across the globe including sack cutting machines in Curacao, interactive voting systems for Ford in Detroit, and warehouse management systems for Airbus in Europe. David's flexible commercial approach assures your Waer Systems solution is delivered on time, meets (or exceeds) the business objectives, and delivers ROI and usability in equal measures. David has a BA Honours degree in History from Manchester University and is a 4 handicap golfer. Stuart Baum, Director of Sales and Marketing Americas Stuart has been with Waer Systems since 2003. While he says he comes from a 'pure' marketing background, Stuart enjoys more than fifteen year's experience 'productizing' and marketing software applications. Prior to Waer Systems, he consulted for a range of software companies, as well as held a top role at the world's largest advertising firm where he helped global businesses enter the China market. He joined Waer Systems to oversee the company's global marketing effort, but has gravitated to fronting the company's sales, marketing, knowledge base and analyst relations efforts in the Americas. He works closely with leading supply chain experts, global manufacturers, distributors/3PLs and suppliers. This gives him a unique perspective of how the theories of supply chain management are being realized in actual plants and production lines, especially across the Americas. Ashley J. Smith, Director, Research & Development Ash is the chief designer & architect of Waer System's leading-edge AeroScape solution. Leveraging nearly two decades of direct focus in WMS and logistics software solutions as well as the user experiences of Waer System's growing customer base Ash assures that AeroScape provides the latest, most robust and most user-friendly benefits to clients who want to increase the control and visibility of their inventory. Ash joined Waer Systems in March 2001. His background includes both manufacturing and retail sector experience, including microprocessor design with one of the world's largest processor manufacturers. He has lived in the USA, Bermuda and the United Kingdom. Dave Roberts, Director of Technical Services Dave has been with Waer Systems since 2002, bringing with him more than fifteen years of software development experience, most of which was within the supply chain management field. As Director of Technical Services, Dave ensures the timely delivery of high quality customer projects within Waer System's stringent development standards. He oversees Waer's suite of services, including consultancy, support and ongoing development of customers' systems. He also oversees the company's data warehousing and e-commerce facilities. He employs world-class project methodology through the Rational Unified Process to help customers minimize any business disruption during installation, while obtaining maximum benefit from both the supplied solution and the overall relationship with Waer Systems. Dave has a BSc(econ) from the University of Wales and an MSc in Information Systems from the University of Brighton, His personal interests include triathlons and music. John Yates, Business Analyst Employing his unique combination of Logistics and IT experience, John ensures the successful implementation of large-scale supply chain solutions while simultaneously meeting key timelines and measurable metrics. Prior to joining Waer Systems, John rose through the ranks of a manufacturer of high-spec fasteners to become, ultimately, its General Manager. He understands all aspects of business, as well as the P&L behind the implementation of processes and technologies. John has a BA (Hons) Computing in Business from Huddersfield Polytechnic and continues to pursue advanced education, such as Dunchurch's Organisational Strategy workshop and British Aerospace's Time-Based Process Mapping course. Andrew Bergin, Process Analyst / Project Manager Whether it's the language of technology or language in general, Andrew can translate intricate and robust process strategies into the everyday management of a supply chain. Andrew's background includes more than 10 years direct experience implementing ERP systems for Manufacturing and Supply Chain Management as well as an additional 10 years of experience working directly in Manufacturing and Distribution Management. With a work history including positions at technology consulting and software firms such as PeopleSoft, Andrew has handled a great number of large-scale, multi-cultural projects in France, Germany and the USA. Andrew has a BA (Hons) from the University of Newcastle-Upon-Tyne and is a member of the Royal Yachting Association. He is fluent in French, German and English. |
