Rod Scott

Founder and CEO

Rod founded Waer in 2000, and became the company’s CEO in 2010. His business grounding is in accountancy, but he has spent some 30 years involved with the supply of products and IT solutions to the Aerospace and Defence industries.

Rod was managing director of C J Fox & Sons Limited - a long established supplier who, during the 1990s, spearheaded the technology-led delivery of components directly to the production lines of UK aerospace manufacturers. These technologies, which were spun across to Waer when it was formed, are central to the supply chain solutions that are provided to Waer’s customers today.

In 2001, C J Fox merged its business with Satair’s OEM business with Rod becoming CEO to the newly formed Satair Hardware Group. Rod served in this position for 5 years, during which time the business grew to a turnover of around $100 million.

In addition to his role at Waer, Rod serves on the Advisory Board of the MDHub, an organisation which brings together Managing Directors and CEOs of entrepreneurial businesses based in Sussex.

David Snelson

Sales Director

Applying his substantial client management and e-business experience, David leads Waer's global business development efforts. During his 17 year career in sales, David has applied his problem-solving skills to a wide variety of clients and applications across the globe including sack cutting machines in Curacao, interactive voting systems for Ford in Detroit and global internet solutions for Toshiba in Europe. David has a BA Honours degree in History and Philosophy from Manchester University and is a 3 handicap golfer.

Dave Roberts

Technical Director

Dave has been with Waer since 2002, bringing with him more than fifteen years of software development experience, most of which was within the supply chain management field.

As Technical Director, Dave ensures the timely delivery of high quality customer projects within Waer System's stringent development standards. He oversees Waer's suite of services, including consultancy, support and ongoing development of customers' systems. He also oversees the company's data warehousing and e-commerce facilities. He employs world-class project methodology through the Rational Unified Process to help customers minimise any business disruption during installation, while obtaining maximum benefit from both the supplied solution and the overall relationship with Waer. Dave has a BSc(econ) from the University of Wales and an MSc in Information Systems from the University of Brighton. His personal interests include triathlons and music.

Kim Noyce

Operations Director

Kim joined Waer Systems in June 2008 as Project Manager and joined the Management Team in April 2010 as Operations Director. Kim leads the Waer Operations Team who deliver, implement, and support the WaerLinx solution. Kim brings 15 years of experience in Aerospace and has unrivalled experience in the sphere of aerospace VMI and DLF contracts, specifically on C-Class parts.

Prior to Waer Systems, Kim worked for Satair Hardware for 10 years, latterly as a Project Manager. Kim was part of the Satair team responsible for selecting SAP and she successfully managed the implementation of SAP to Satair Hardware. Prior to that role, Kim lead the UK Customer Service team and was responsible for managing and implementing the DLF and Kitting contracts and this included the Sales function for the UK division of Satair Hardware, generating a $50m turnover.

Kim holds the PRINCE2 Practitioner certificate.
