Satair Hardware asked Waer to provide a technology solution that would enable the business to perform a full physical stock count across all their warehouses to prepare the data for their SAP implementation.

Waer built a new stand-alone module which ran from the handheld terminals used by warehouse personnel.

• Speed and precision: WaerTrack counted over 40m parts, involving over 50,000 part numbers, in just eight weeks.
• Accuracy: All the part data and associated transaction history was retained, verified and ported over to the new system, thus maintaining full traceability.
• Complete visibility: WaerTrack gave Satair a completely accurate physical stock record within the in-house IT system. All obsolescent stock was removed from the systems and scrapped from the stores.
